SAN ANTONIO -- Two men are in critical condition after falling from I-10 onto the access road below.
According to Balcones Heights police, there was a vehicle accident at 2:44 a.m. Saturday on the main lanes of I-10 Eastbound above the access road that intersects with Crossroads Drive.
At some point, two men who were near the accident fell off the highway and landed forty feet below on the access road.
Police said they do not know if the men were involved in the accident or if they had just stopped to help. Officers also don't know what caused the men to fall.
