SAN ANTONIO -- Two motorcycle riders were killed when a truck crashes into them head-on.

The accident happened Friday night at 11:30 on Applewhite near Zarzamora. The motorcycle was driving the wrong way on Applewhite Road when the truck hit it.

Officers tell News 4 WOAI the driver did not see the motorcycle and could not avoid hitting it.

The motorcycle driver and and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released the name of the man and woman because their relatives had not been notified.

Police say it is not known at this time if alcohol was involved.

by reading the fisrt part of article, the writer of this, suggest that the truck driver was at fault. the stupid cycler was on the wrong side of the road! you deserved to die along with your stupid companion.

Set your pop-up blocker and you get all the ads. What I dislike is the auto-start of the videos. If I want to watch it, I'll click on it, don't make me turn you off. God Bless to the victims, but wrong way...on a motorcycle at night, combined with whatever, is a deadly combo.
