This is so very sad. My kids know these boys from school, and to read these comments about the vehicle they were driving is just ridiculous. I pray for your recovery T, and I will keep your parents in my prayers as well. I know this has got to be a really hard thing for a parent to go thru.

It is unbelievable that in a situation like this the ONLY thing you IGNORANT people can talk about is the style of vehicle, time of night, and the sad fact that the vehicle did run out of gas. This is a tragic accident which WOULDNT have happened had this LADY been PAYING ATTENTION! This child is fighting for his life and you should be ashamed of yourselves for being so critical of others in time of need. We are all equal and if this happened to your child I guarantee others mocking your situation such as this would upset you! Think before you speak! Tanner, we LOVE you and are ALL praying for a speedy recovery!

i like how ignorant some people are, and the only thing they care about is making some ridiculous comment and not whether or not the boys are okay. Anyone can run out of gas, it happens to the best of us. People just need to remember what goes around comes around. For anyone that does care one of the boys is still in ICU and will remain there for the next few weeks. Prayers for Tanner and his family, and prayers to all these ignorant fools that feel the need to attack these poor boys.

The stupidity lies in the woman distracted by the radio at her age she should have been paying attention to the road especially at night maybe she shouldn't have a license. Prayers to both injured boys and their families for a speedy recovery.

Re: Marmarmar, donoho & Cleopatra comments, "You just can't fix stupid". What should be remembered here is there where two teens not hurt seriously hurt and the other one is going to eventually be fine because he is a awesome kid and a fighter. How dare you blame these guys they are great kids. They ran out of gas that could happen to anyone in any type of car. Pricey or a junker. The only one to blame is the driver for being distracted. Speedy Recovery T. prayers for his family as well as the other boys and their families.

It doesn't matter the type of vehicle nor the ages of the parties involved. Bottom line is this was a tragic incident that could happen to ANY innocent driver, in fact it happens way too often. You don't criticize police officers or good Samaritans that have stopped on the sides of roads to help people and have been hit by cars, why criticize these just because of the vehicle they were in? I've seen many GROWN men (who should know better) carrying gas cans to their out of gas vehicles. It happens. People are way to distracted on the roads now days with cell phones, radios etc. The fault lies with the person behind the wheel who makes a terrible split second poor decision. My prayers to the boys and families involved and may they make a full recovery. Prayers also to those who feel the need to attack these kids further by your ignorant comments here, may you never find yourself in this horrible situation.

NOTHING should have distracted the woman at 8pm at night and it is a pretty light up area now-a-days, blaming the kids for running out of gas OMG and for having MONEY even worse, her excuse distracted by the radio is about the worst I have heard in years! Prayers for the family of the child who was injured.
