SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio police arrested a man accused of stealing from Sam's Clubs in several states.

Officers arrested 40-year-old David Garza during a traffic stop Monday morning. Garza is accused of stealing $27,000 worth of jewelry from the Sam's Club on De Zavala back in January.

Police in Louisiana and Mississippi are checking to see if Garza is also responsible for jewelry thefts at Sam's Clubs in their states.

In all, the value of the stolen jewelry tops a half million dollars.
