SAN ANTONIO -- A driver speeding the wrong way on Hildebrand lost control, flipped and landed on top of a tractor, officials said.

According to police, the accident happened just after 2 a.m. Sunday in front of University of the Incarnate Word.

The driver, police said, had minor cuts and bruises, but was not taken to the hospital.

Police told News 4 San Antonio that alcohol was a factor in the accident and the driver was arrested for DWI.

Hildebrand between 281 and Broadway is a one-way street due to construction. That construction is scheduled to last for 18 months.

The problem is that all these DRUNK DRIVING CHARGES...NEVER GO TO A JURY!!! The worthless LAWYERS get a plea bargain, so the Citzens of San Antonio Never get to actually hear the case, OR PUNISH the drunken slobs. The lawyers make money for doing NOTHING, BUT SAN ANTONIO LOSES....and innocent people continue to be murdered by these drunken slobs every day.
