SAN ANTONIO – Officer Edrees Mukhtar passed away Saturday from injuries he suffered in an accident on December 10th.
The San Antonio police officer lost control of his vehicle and hit a truck head-on. We have learned Mukhtar, 28, hit a patch of running water over the road, lost control and crashed into a truck.
The truck driver was treated at the scene.
Officer Mukhtar had been with SAPD since may 2011.
