SAN ANTONIO - One person was injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 10 on the Far East Side Monday morning.

The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. Monday in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Foster Road. A Chevrolet pickup truck traveling west on Interstate 10 slammed into the back of a sewage truck that was driving slowly on the shoulder of the road due to mechanical problems. The impact caused the sewage truck to roll over and spill some of the contents in the truck onto the road.

Driver of the Chevy pickup was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but officers at the scene said he did not appear to be seriously hurt.

Traffic was tied up for more than an hour as crews worked to clean up the scene.

The accident was on the access road, so why is the interstate closed? Also, what is the o'clock hour? Geez.

I-10 crosses the City from east to west. It would be nice to know the location . . . like I-10 at/near ????? . Reporting should be better!
