SAN ANTONIO -- A ringing cell phone helped locate a man's body near his wrecked truck on the southwest side Saturday morning.  Police say someone spotted the truck partially hidden in trees at about 8 a.m. on Old Pearsall Road at Medina Base Road.

A beach towel was hanging out of the driver's side window but no one was inside the vehicle. A tow truck got stuck trying to yank the truck of of the trees so a second tow truck had to tow both vehicles out of the woods.  Police say someone heard a cell phone ring and a tow truck driver followed the sound and found the man's body.

Investigators don't know what time the accident happened. The 48-year-old victim was not identified but police said he lives near the crash site.
