SAN ANTONIO -- A man is facing charges after he led police on high speed chase late Wednesday.

Police tried pulling over the driver near Culebra and 410 around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, when he took off. Police followed him to a neighborhood near Austin Highway. Police say the driver then fled on foot but was caught a short time later.

When police searched the car, they found two pounds of marijuana inside it.

FreeHole, I'm not sure if your comment is supposed to address mine or if the use of "common sense" is coincidence. But in case it was a reply to my post, you missed my point and sarcasm.

political swines w/elongated snouts (Reps)? Really. Dem mascot is a donkey (a domesticated a$$; a stupid or foolish person). Wasn't much common sense shown in this election. stupid won.

Use your common sense: This is the best country in the world to live. Where are you going? Canada? Boring. Mexico? Lethal. Instead of following blindly a group of political swines with elongated snouts (Reps), or fleeing, try to help the government achieve the collective American goal, meaning wellnes for everyone, not just for the provileged elite of googol millionaires (which you are not, I bet). This is like a tornado aftermath (the conservative twister)...people stop crying and start helping to fix the damage.

Pastor Bob, I must agree with some of your points. God seems to be very angry with us, but you misspelled the plague he sent - it's not 'Ebola', it's 'Obama'. And with that one, leaving the city isn't good enough, we'd have to leave the country.

Trutex..........I wonder why some Constitutional Attorney has not been able to overturn the Federal statute criminalizing marijuana if what you are saying is accurate? I think you are wrong.

Must have been on his way to Colorado. I must say I agree with the votes to legalize, as did the late great William F Buckley who is one of the founders of the conservative movement and former editor of National Review magazine, which is and always has been pro-legalization. The Fed Govt simply does not have the Constitutional authority to prohibit marijuana.

I have been informed by a reliable source that this represents enough marijuana to provide 10,000 or more individual doses. The amount of chaos that results daily from the use of this drug by the tens of thousands of addicts affected is enormous. I don't know the exact value of this cache, but this must represent tens of thousand of dollars worth of illegal and immoral drugs. All that money goes to gangsters in thrall to Satan. This is the result of allowing the Devil's people full reign. God must be very angry. We may all have to leave the city, ere the Lord sends a plague of Ebola or some such tribulation. The End is near; seek Jesus before it's too late. It's that or Hell. Don't go there; it's too hot.
