SAN ANTONIO- A 20- year old man has been arrested, accused of drugging a 12- year old girl with prescription pills then sexually assaulting her. A chilling affidavit for an arrest warrant stated that Julian R. Martinez fed the child Xanax before the sexual assault. It also claims the suspect confessed, but Martinez acted confused when asked about the alleged assault Sunday evening at police headquarters.
He said, “Twelve years old? What do you mean? I found a girl as a 12- year old?”
Later as Martinez got into the police car, he said he didn't know anything about the accusations against him. Yet, according to a police affidavit Martinez admitted to investigators that he sexually assaulted the 12-year old girl and that they both took the pills and smoked marijuana before the assault.
Police claim the victim gave investigators the same story.
Sandy Gutierrez, a spokesperson for the San Antonio Police Department explained, “She tells police that he gave her Xanax before and after the assault”.
But when asked by the media Martinez denied the accusations.
“Don't misunderstand what ain't true homes”.
Police are looking for other victims they believe could have been assaulted by Martinez. They’re asking other victims to call the San Antonio Police Sex Crimes Office at 203-2313.
