SAN ANTONIO -- A man faces aggravated assault charges after police say he shot at his girlfriend early Thursday morning.
The shooting happened on Guadalupe near South Zarzamora just before 3:30 a.m. Thursday. According to investigators, the man and woman were fighting. They said the woman had packed up her belongings and was trying to leave when the man grabbed a rifle and fired several shots at her. She was grazed on the leg and is expected to be all right.
The woman told police he might still be at his home in the 2600 block of Guadalupe Street. Police surrounded the home and were able to speak with the man using a loudspeaker. He eventually gave himself up. Officers found several guns inside the home and in his car.
