SAN ANTONIO -- A 13-year old girl was inside the Body Central women's retail store at the South Park mall Sunday when police say she noticed something strange.
"She saw our suspect's foot underneath the dressing room wall, in her dressing room," explains SAPD Officer Matt Porter.
She says the suspect, 27-year old Juan Enrique Ipina, gave her a suspicious look, so she called mall security, who called police.
When police arrived, they found a tear in Ipina's pants, and a camera phone taped to the bottom of it. Upon questioning, Ipina told authorities he did it because he "thought it would be fun," admitting he has done it once before.
"That is scary, I have an 11-year old. If that happened to my child, I would be devastated," says mall shopper Jessica Guerra.
News 4 WOAI did a background check on Ipina and found he had no criminal history in Texas. He is now at the Bexar County Jail on charges of improper photography and visual recording, facing a $5000 bond.
