"Not in my neighborhood" - witness helps police find items stolen from garages

Police told News 4 WOAI we can all learn from what the witness did to help officers find stolen items. Officers still need your help to catch the crooks who took the items from open garages.

If the neighbor had been armed, he could have held them at gun point until police got there.

"The individuals then jumped the center median and ran across four lanes of traffic, narrowly missing getting hit.” Crap, damn the bad luck. Could've saved a lot of time and expense by turning 'em into road kill.
