SAN ANTONIO - A motorcycle rider is dead after losing control of his bike and crashing.
The accident happened just before 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon in New Braunfels. Police tell News 4 WOAI that a 20-year-old man from Cleburne was heading north on I-35 when he lost control of his motorcycle. Witnesses say the bike was swerving and hit a Ford Taurus. The bike started to skid and ended up in the middle of the highway.
The rider was rushed to Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels where he was pronounced dead.
The New Braunfels Police Department traffic unit is investigating the crash.
