Bullying is the kind of issue that's never been new to us. This is also the issue that most parents wanted to be tackled and must be stopped from occurring. I don't want my son to be bullied or be part of this fast-growing issue. That's why I provided him a safety service that could protect him and secure his safety. I registered my son to SAFEKIDZONE because it has a mobile security application that enables my son to summon help from trusted people and with access to the nearest 911 when safety issue arises. For child protection check out: http://safekidzone.com/

Mom don't pull your son from the school. He does not have to physically fight the bullies. He has already demonstrated he has the courage to stand-up to thugs (future union members). Your son has given the student population in all schools hope they too can follow the rules and report all "bullies" to the authorities. The authorities in this case appears to be missing the "courage" your son already demonstrated. Keep the public informed!

The boy obeyed the law and looked to the authorities to act upon his complaint, so what does the school do? Why, they transfer the victim to another school! The bully remains on the campus looking for his next victim. Is this how all assaults are handled by Judson ISD? This was an assault that resulted in serious bodily injury - A FELONY. Why no investigation? Is this how the school district acts to protects its students? Why didn't the nurse clean and dress the wound?

This mom needs to go directly to the district and then the state, not just the school. Believe me the school doesn't want to hear from the State. I had to get the state involved with my son on another matter and they practically tap danced promissing me it would change. And it did. Hang in the mom, you have a long fight ahead of you.

I'm not condoning bullying at all but . . . why didn't the mother clean out the cuts and bandage them and watch them if they get worse. I don't think it would have gone to staph if she had been more vigilant. Judson, all schools, should do a lot more about bullying. It has reached an emergency level all over as eveidenced by this poor kid and other kids that have committed suicide over it or become bullies themselves in self defens. The bullies should get more than a slap on the hands and sent back to do it again. I can tell a kid is a bully just by looking at the father and how he handles himself and how the kid reacts to it and I'm right 99% of the time. These kids weren't bullies when they were born, they were taught to be one at home. I hope this little boy gets better really fast and I hope mom can raise enough he!! that something is done.

Golfnut-C'mon now. You're going to make a kid who already feels bad feel WORSE by implying it's their fault? How about let's talk to the parents of the kid doing the bullying and find out where this acting out is coming from? How about "That bully needs to get some therapy to find out why they feel the need to prove themselves by hurting others."?
