SAN ANTONIO -- Police are investigating after a mom found a gun in the street while taking her child to school Friday morning.
News 4 WOAI was told a woman who was driving her child to Camelot Elementary on Raybon around 7:30 a.m. found the gun in the street in front of a church about a block away from the school. She picked up the gun and took it to school officials. The school's principal then called police.
Officials said the 9mm handgun was fully loaded.
