SAN ANTONIO--14-year old Makayla Morrow was reunited with her family on Friday. The teen had been missing since Saturday, May 5th.
Morrow was found in Amarillo. Both the San Antonio and Amarillo police departments are investigating the case. Amarillo police said a 20-year-old man is behind bars in connection with the case.
Since the investigation is still on going, police nor the family is saying much about what happened. "We believe in our judicial system, and that's what we are going to move forward with," added mom Michelle Leas.
Leas told News 4 WOAI her daughter was taken against her will. Morrow's parents said despite everything their daughter is doing okay, and they are thankful to everyone who helped in the search. "
We got her here safe and now healing process begins, " added dad Andrew Leas.
