Jimkata. Max Lucado is a humble servant of God. I apologize if I came across as attacking you. If your statement was meant to say that you never heard of Max Lucado than why didn't you just say that. You did come across as arragant in your statement and I understand that is not what you intended.

My question was not intended to be taken as arrogance, but even if it were, the reaction of those here was not in line with Christ's teachings. Outside of this story, I have never heard of Max Lucado, and if the reaction that my question received is any indication of who he is, or what he represents, I'm not sure I want to know any more than what I do.

What God thinks has been written down for us in 66 books called the bible. Yes it was written by man, but it was inspired by God.

Ah... I see... ask a question and get attacked. Very "Christian" everybody... And people wonder why so many have turned their backs on religion. Maybe its because there are so many arrogant people out there that seem to think that only they know what God thinks.

Here's something to think about...in this country it is a crime to witness murder and not report it. Every day children are raped, murdered, beaten, starved, neglected...etc. Entire countries are without food, water, shelter, citizens beaten and murdered by corrupt governments...etc. Yet millions of people blindly worship someone or something that stands by and allows it to happen, and knew it would before said victims were born. Such love and a "perfect plan".
