SraSanAnto, had my neighbor not spoken up, and made the call to woai, the city/viewers wouldn't be informed of the constant burglaries in this area. The funny thing about crime is that it usually catches you off-guard, the funny thing about being caught off-guard is that it may often cloud your judgement. You've come up with various should-have scenarios, as you are not the victim of this crime, and are simply just an outsider. Thanks for your concern. -Cloudcroft resident

It is very sad that this is going on. We should not have to be afraid to leave our house. We have to lock our house up like Fort Knox. We have neighbors that moved across the street from Laredo. They are the worst always smoking pot and doing whatever they can to break the law. You call the police dept no one comes. You talk to the safety officer they say well have a meeting at your house. Well what is your job to protect and serve. I think they should all be replaced Scully for sure this City is going downhill.

Oh indeed it is a shame that the city manager and city police and city council have all decided to flip the finger to us decent people and our families, by cutting police protection to our communities and even force us to file reports of burglaries and other criminal acts by phone or online. Officer won't even show up at the crime scene. Shame, shame, that they prefer to have their officers under threat of firing if they don't fill their quotas on speeding, parking and jay-walking tickets. SeƱora Scully-to....please don't hurt us no more!

Ok, it is now time to ban jump rope, since someone used it to harm another person.

There are things that make sense and there are things that don't make sense..This story being the 5th break in sounds very fishy..Why didn't he chase the guys in his vehicle, why didn't he lock the door or stay out side in his car till police arrived? Why would any one think of calling WOAI at the emergency room when you were just choked unconscious? Maybe this guy likes the attention..JS

If you guys in that hood' started killing burglars, they would #1 be fewer of them and the rest would find another hood' to burglarize.

Homeowners need to fight back to protect and keep what is rightfully theirs. Not to mention the safety of their loved one's from all the scum that resides in San Antonio. It's ashamed to see the reputation of Military City get ruined by worthless POS that their sole purpose in life is to commit crimes against innocent people.

If it was my house the way they described them would be, one was Hispanic and one was Black, both with multiple gunshot wounds. Funerals to be announced.
