SAN ANTONIO -- A man was attacked by a bull in Southwest Bexar County.

Emergency crews were called to the 15,600 block of Wheeler Road around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. The man's wife said he was feeding the Angus bull when it knocked him down and started to "rough him up." She was able to get the bull off of her husband, who she said was bleeding from his head after the attack.

The man was taken by AirLife to University Hospital.

Won't make steaks, but where do you think all the hamburger comes from. It sure isn't from prime corn fed stock. Think of all the old cows and bulls you see. Yep, that's hamburger!

Jimkata - Would not be very tasty I am afraid - Most Bulls are to old and still have their "equipment" which does not help the meat. Plus they are worth to much for the ordinary meat - A better solution is to just be more careful - Feed behind a fence maybe. I hope the rancher recovers.
