SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- A hiker has been injured by a mountain lion at Big Bend National Park.

The National Park Service says a woman and her friends were hiking in a remote area when the attack happened Friday.

The San Antonio Express-News reports that the woman was treated for minor injuries.

Authorities say part of the park has been closed so that rangers can look for the mountain lion and investigate the attack.

Amen Catwalk, just like the Grizzly attacks in Alaska. Stay out of their hoods.
