SAN ANTONIO - Looking for a Career? Join us on Thursday, June 28 from 10am-2pm at the Norris Conference Center for a free job fair sponsored by News 4 WOAI, Job News, Congressman Lamar Smith, Alamo Workforce Solutions and Texas Veterans Association. Over 25 major oil and gas companies are participating!

Dress to impress! Your first impression is critical when job seeking. Men should wear their best suit with a tie, and matching dress shoes. Women should wear their best jacket with matching skirt or pants and shoes. Admittance may be denied to anyone wearing shorts, jeans, flip flops or other inappropriate attire.

Bring plenty of copies of your resume printed on quality paper. Even if you do not bring a resume, be certain to have a portfolio or briefcase with notebook or legal pad and pens.

Having the highest paying Engineering Degree in Petroleum Engineering would probably be the most competitive way to get a job like this. Too bad only A&M offers that degree. Texas State and UTSA (the 2 local public universities around here) need to get on the ball and offer this degree already, decades behind the curve here. This is a very high paying career field.
