I am not surprise at all with this news. Fred Loya Insurance was the worst experience I had and I wasn't even a customer with them. I just went their to get a quote I was being treated like I am the worst driver in Texas. I currently have Geico, been with them for over 5 years and love their rates and customer services.

Addendum to my other comment, go to the Texas Department of Insurance to file a complaint if Fred Loya is dragging their feet on a claim. I did so after 4 months of waiting, and Fred Loya contacted me within 48 hours to settle the claim! http://www.tdi.texas.gov/consumer/complfrm.html

If you ever have problems, as I did, trying to settle a claim with Fred Loya Insurance, go online and contact the Texas Insurance Agency and file a complaint. I waited 4 months before having to do that for an open and shut case, had to pay my deductible and get my vehicle fixed myself before Fred Loya finally coughed up the cash after my complaint.
