SAN ANTONIO- A fight between women at a night club ends with three people being shot. Police said the shooting happened around 3:15 Saturday morning at The Studio night club along the 9300 block of Perrin Beitel on the Northeast Side.
Employees at a neighboring business explained it's not the first time a shooting has happened at the club and their business has been caught in the cross fire before.
Alex Achilles said The Studio night club has been around for at least fours years and during that time, she said she has heard about several incidents involving the club including several shootings.
When she arrived for work Saturday morning, she found out about the latest shooting.
“I guess at this point it's not totally surprising there's been quite a few that have happened,” said Alex.
Police said three people were shot and treated at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) for non life threatening injuries. One of them was the manager of the club. According to officers that victim witnessed a fight break out inside the club between some women, and that's when some men jumped in. They were asked to take it outside, and police said that's when someone pulled out a gun and started firing.
Alex explained while this happened next door to where she works, she feels safe enough to work in this area during the day, but is questioning how frequent at close by the shootings are happening to where she works.
“I guess a few moths ago at night they had shot a few bullets in our sign and one in the wall, and then unfortunately they got our neighbor here too one of their windows”.
Police are investigating evidence they have gathered including several shell casings found on the road. They still don't have any suspects.
