Father claims son was sexually assaulted in prison

Reading all the comments... now with that said, these inmates get three meals a day, a place to sleep and bathe. They also get free education (for them not us), free healthcare and have a commissary where they can get snacks, etc. Now I don't believe in the misconduct of the guards as the guards are hired to do a job... mind you many of us, including myself, would not do that job because of the danager. Our guards, police officers, service men/women, etc are way underpaid for risking their lives on a daily basis. I get paid a lot more and by all means risk my life 0% of the time, it's pretty sad. We want better managing of the prisons and reduced crime, well then lets pay for it...oh no wait that would mean higher taxes. I would much rather pay higher taxes and have safer cities and more guards to protect the guards.... In Texas the average pay $30,000 a year... wow not many people are willing to do this. Texas is the 47th out of 50 states regarding pay... so only 3 states get paid less than us. Rape is unacceptable in prison, for anyone, guilty or innocent. What if an innocent person (MANY of those in prison, as the Innocence Project has PROVEN) goes to prison. Should they be porked unwillingly in there? End ALL prison rape. I wish they could have cryoprisons like in "Demolition Man", but I'm sure someone who approves of prison rape would call THAT inhumane. Absolutely disgusting and pathetic what humanity has come to.

@ HollyHoly: it IS prison, it IS bad enough, acceptance of rape however is another level of inhumanity, EVERYONE breaks a law at some point, and innocent people end up in jail/prison too, and like i said before, if we as a society accpect it there, it's a green light for anyone to commit rape who needs to express power over anyone else. @ GoGo: your reply is just too non-sensicle and stupid to respond to.

@LuigiLewis, since you seem to insult, you need to get your head outta your @$$. Prison is not your resort and it's idiots like you that find criminals to be inhumanely treated. Thus, you tolerate criminal behavior. A criminal gets where he is due to his own actions and the consequences of those actions includes all the crud that goes on in the prison. Don't like it, then don't be a criminal. The guy is lucky bubba only took him for a joy ride, he could've been killed. The only haneous behavior is the criminals locked up for a reason. Bet you're one of those that believe criminals should be treated more humanely than the treatment they gave their victims, BS! You get sent to prison, don't come crying foul, everything goes!
