SAN ANTONIO--Shooting victim Brent Lowak of Bulverde is recuperating in a Colorado hospital.
Lowak was at the Aurora, Colorado movie theater with his best friend Jessica Ghawi when he was shot in the buttocks. Ghawi did not survive.
Lowak is a 2003 graduate of Smithson Valley High School. He worked as a limousine driver for First Class Limousines and Sedan Service in San Antonio.
Mark Mason, owner of the company told News 4 WOAI Lowak has been working as a driver for the past four years.
"We could call on him day or night, he's the most humble, helpful individual that I've ever met, " said Mason.
Mason went on to say Lowak was going to school to become a fire fighter.
