SAN ANTONIO -- A man is accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of iPhones.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Lee Garcia was an employee at a Castle Hills Cricket store. The affidavit states Garcia got a shipment of iPhones worth more than $20,000 that were meant for another store. Castle Hills police say Garcia took the box to his office and locked the door.

The affidavit says Garcia tried to get the phones "flashed" at another store, so they couldn't be traced and could be programmed for another carrier. But employees who saw him told their bosses, and Garcia was arrested.

The affidavit goes on to say Garcia even paid one of the employees $1,500 to keep quiet and threatened another one.

Garcia was arrested on theft charges.

Does the employee get to keep the $1,500 dollars that Lee Garcia gave him/her to keep quiet?

What an idiot, how stupid can you be to think that you could get away with this. I hoped that the employee you threatened had kicked your @$$. You don't go around threatening people because, you want to commit a crime. Hope it was worth it cause now, you're going to jail and about the only job you'll get is cleaning toilets.
