geomayes my comments are not meant to sound "cute". they are meant to possibly wake-up some of the people that drive over there. if you could see what i see, i'm guessing you would agree most of these folks have no business driving until they prove they can pay attention to what their doing. i'm sorry for your loss, but i gather from other posts the reason your son's friend is gone is because of exactly what i'm talking about. this is a very real problem on 281 and needs to be addressed. if making what you think sounds "cute" wakes sombody up and saves a life or two, then i guess you'll just have to be offended. if you think i don't know what i'm talking about, i'll extend the same offer to you i made to landy, i can arrange a ride along for you anytime. (believe me you'll be amazed at some of the stupity you see when you ride along at 10 ft in the air where you have a much bigger picture at whats going on.

one other point landy, my driving record is clean; thats no accidents since i recieved my license at 16 in my pick-up (i'm 55 now). and lets see 4.5 million miles accident free (32 years) driving a tractor trailer.

landy, i drive a truck for a living. i haul gasoline. my biggest account, the valero at marshall rd and 281 takes from 2 to 4 loads a day. that means i'm driving a rolling bomb in the vicinity of this accident everyday no where in all of south texas do i come across some of the stupitidy i see on this strech of highway. i often talk to these very same people while unloading. they come up and ask me about fuel prices,etc. most seem like some of the nicest people (and proablly are) you'd ever meet. then they get in ther car and do some of the stupidest things i've seen. in short it really doesn't matter how nice they are; one mistake around me and they can not only take my life and there own, but the lives of lots of others driving around them and my self. in fact the insuing explosion by hitting me could kill people in close by parking lots who are not driving. please note that 9200 gal tank i pull is only 5/8 in thick alum. doesn't take much to break it open. gas vapor ignites at 140 degrees. the operating temp. of a car engine is 180 degrees. you figure the possibilities. i wasn't being mean or mean spirited. i was merely stating what i believe to be a fact. remember i sit ten feet in the air. i see whats going on in these cars as they go by me at 10 miles over the speed limit. i can assure that most are not paying attention to what their doing. while the problem is bad all over this area 281 north is the worst. if you doubt me send a post back and i'll be happy to arange for you to ride along with me and you can see for yourself. please remember my first post is making a VALID point about the drivers on the northside (most) not trying to be mean. its sounds to me like the victim here is dead as a result of one of the people i'm talking about.

Poor kid got killed by a San Antonio idiot driver. The POS that plowed him was driving like an (__!__). Condolences to all who knew him.

sandyman,your comments shows alot about you personality,and no reguard for human life,since it was not your family or friend.Well,there has to be an investigation because not two people can be at fault.I suppose your driving record is clean,since you can judge others behind a vehicle.And it makes you feel better to critisize others without knowing the details.

Patrick was one of my son's best frined. He was loved by many at our church where he was one of our best sound technicians. We kidded him about driving like a grandma so he was not goofing off while driving. Your comments may sound 'cute' but they are hurtful to his mother and all of us who loved Patrick.

no need to spent the money on an investigation. people on the north side of town have to much going on to pay attention to driving. plain and simple! they have no business on a tri-cycle let alone any kind of vehicle that produces horsepower.
