Driver hits five people outside bar

I used to bartend at Stroker's for about 3 weeks...its a very shady place with illegal gambling. The owner is a disgusting person and I had to ask him not to touch me inappropriately on 2 occasions. I wish they would close that bar down. Known gang members frequent that place and the owner is 'proud' of it and welcomes them.

Wonder how many in the bar have EBT cards in their possession? Got to pay for their food, so they can suck down cold ones with their OTHER money.

Fiesta is right around the corner, and THAT is endorsed by EVERYBODY...I don't go to fiesta, because it is just a bunch of publicly INTOXICATED POS trying to walk around. People spilling beer all over each other. As long as San Antonio, AND city Counsel endorse and encourage DRINKING at this function,the SOBER people of this city, will not attend.Fiesta is just a big DRUNK party...nothing more. I say STOP having this PATHETIC drunk party called fiesta.

It's the SOUTH SIDE what do you expect? Majority of those "Ho's" don't work. They live off of the taxpayer's.

It always amazes me to see people out partying at 3am on a weeknight. Guess the welfare checks must have come in already because they obviously don't work. Good thing the rest of us work so we can pay for their room & board at the county!

I don't see why the police can't go around and close those hell holes down. When you have five or six harlots fighting in the parking lot, I would take that as clear proof that something untoward is going on. Those hussies were in that saloon drinking down beer and strong whiskey and acting up. I expect they were showing their private parts to each other's swains and got into a hissy fit over it. That is the kind of attrocity that takes place when the unsaved get to drinking and carrying on. It is hardly news and if this was a news site, we wouldn't even hear about it because it happens every durn night in this city. Pardon my strong language, but this has become a serious problem in these parts and we need to do something about it. I urge the Chief of Police to put on his fancy hat and come to meet with area Christians to plan a concerted effort to finally close down the bar rooms and saloons of this city. Further, I urge all Christians to spend at least a few hours this week in the office of the Chief to demand that he address this issue at long last. It is ridiculous that we allow these unsaved wretches to consume this alcohol and then get all worked up over the results. This is cause and effect, folks. It is the cause that we should be concerned with, not the effect, though the effect (drunken reveling) is the problem. The Lord God is watching.
