SAN ANTONIO -- A Bexar County deputy who has been arrested twice for allegedly driving while intoxicated has resigned.

Deputy Susanna Cervantes had to be tased twice after police say she drove into two concrete posts while allegedly driving drunk and then resisted arrest.

At the time, she was already on administrative leave after a drunk driving arrest last fall when she kicked out the window of a police car.

She had no business even BEING an officer of the Sheriff's Dept. What a disgrace to the other officers she is. Did she go to COURT on the FIRST offense like everybody else???? Was her liscence suspended, like every other sloppy drunk in this city? Did she PAY A FINE to the City of San Antonio??? Her FIRST conviction would of AUTOMATICALLY disqualified her from having a GUN!!!!!!!

She should have been fired after the first arrest. kicking out the window of a police car, now there is one that should be armed with a gun and making decisions that effect others lives. She owes the citizens an apology. Go get some help for the problem Susanna.

I wonder if I kicked out my co-workers office window if I'd be placed on "administrative leave"?

This proves to me a gun cannot commit a crime. It also shows not all that have guns use them to commit crimes. In this case she never committed any crime with her gun. Now the procedures and qualifications for a Deputy should be reviewed. On the other hand, the care of the county in my opinion should be outsource and everyone in it now allowed to apply for the job. I would estimate few if any would qualify under a private employer.

This is a perfect example of someone who has no business owning a gun. She is freakin bonkers. I watched her arrest on TV.
