This is a man, a loving husband, devoted daddy of two beautiful children, a wonderful friend, an amazing soldier, who busts his ass to fight for stupid asses like you to be able to have the chance to speak freely. This MAN, fights for YOU, and OUR country, taken away from his family numerous times a year for deployments and training. HE is a HERO! HE was spending time with his family and friends before he left for another deployment. All because some coward wants to pull a gun out and starting shooting everyone cuz a drunk altercation. REALLY??!!! How many bar fights are there every day?? This is a horrible tragedy that got out of hand fast, now everyone has lost a wonderful man, and another has to live with taking the life of a soldier, husband, daddy, son, friend, brother, team brother, a...HERO! My heart goes out to everyone involved. My prayers are with the families during this horrible time.

Hopefully this will stop all this hate against my cousin Joey, the one that did not survive. He and his friends made some bad choices that night, but we all have. Unfurtunately this will be his last. He was a great guy, and yes he is an Iraq War Hero. He was in town visiting friends and family. I hope all of y'all that are so nasty about someone you've never met will never have to feel what we are feeling. Joey is an Army Ranger, a Staff Sergeant, Special Forces, but first and foremost he was a Daddy. He will be missed. RIP Joey, we will forever luv you baby

I can't believe what some of y'all are saying on here!!! The man that was killed was a military hero who was about to deploy, father of two very young children, and a loving husband! And no he's not black and he was not attacking that individual he was trying to get the gun away! These individuals are all from this area born and raised they were also one of each race you should be ashamed of yourself to judge so quickly!
