I drive this road every single day, and have for years. It's not dangerous when you pay attention, abide by the post speed limit, and observe the posted warning signs. If you're doing 40 MPH, you're almost ran over because the vast majority of drivers on that road do 50+, stay in the left lane, then try to cut over to the right lane in the curve to turn right on to southbound 35. It is tragic when people die, but people need to take responsibility and be ready to pay for their actions.

My sister flipped her Durango on that curve, because she was going over 50 mph and the road was wet. She accounts for one missing pole, I guess the other one caught a separate car on fire. Woe is me, one day she'll learn how to drive a large vehicle properly.

Roads aren't dangerous, drivers are. Just because it's posted as 40 mph, doesn't mean people have to drive that fast.

My friend lives out there... The first time I went I didn't know O'Connor RD turns into Wurzbach Pkwy. The speed limit is 40, I think. Shouldn't be that fast at those curves. Knowing people in this town they'll make it 60 and pretend they're nascar.

Whoever designed that intersection with O'Connor Road, Wurzbach Parkway and Crosswinds should have been fired! I used to live in that area and don't recognize where to turn to stay on eastbound O'Connor now!

It is a long and winding road, and many of us will not be astonished when the lizard appears.
