Dancer, two others shot at strip club

SAN ANTONIO -- Police say a dancer and two patrons were injured when shots were fired during a fight at a North Side strip club early Thursday morning.

Police said they received a call about a shooting at Sugar's in the 2700 block of NW Loop 410 near Vance Jackson around 12:40 a.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they found two shooting victims, 24-year-old Leticia Gonzalez and 35-year-old Ruben Martinez, inside the club. Gonzalez suffered a gunshot wound to her buttocks. Martinez suffered gunshot wounds to his right knee and left forearm. Both were taken to a hospital by EMS.

While officers were at the club investigating, another shooting victim showed up at Methodist Hospital with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. Police identified that man as the suspect in the shooting.

Investigators say several people were sitting around a table at the club when an argument started. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, and gunfire erupted. A spokesperson for the San Antonio Police Department told News 4 it appears the suspect started shooting and Martinez returned fire. Police say Gonzalez was an innocent bystander and was hit by a stray bullet.

FreeHole, apparantly you didn't get the joke until it was pointed out to you, so when Pacman learns English, I'll quote him more accurately. Plus, I know the rules about CHL's, but obviously these two idiots don't. So don't be an arsh-hole.

This type of behavior is not really unexpected, given the location. However, it is somewhat unusual for the unsaved to have at each other with pistols. They prefer knives to cut each other up with and that is what they usually use. This establishment operates right out in the open and they sell beer, strong whiskey and a view of some teats. I believe they probably engage in fornication and dope use as well. All these activities are anathama unto the Lord and bound to cause trouble. I don't see why the new Sheriff won't go over there and arrest all those people and close that place down. They ought to put a big lock on the door and never let them open up again. It's a disgrace.

Does the bar display the 51% sign? Pretty sure they average strip bar doesn't make 51% on liquor sales. At least in honesty if they were honest on how they make their money it wouldn't be 51% liquor sales.

Do the math. Weekday + strip club + 1:30a.m.---something about this doesn't add up to responsible adults. I may be way off here, but aren't you just asking for trouble when these elements all come together? Meh, pretty sure strippah shootings happen all the time everywhere else. And I REALLLLLY don't think this bone head was a card carrying member of the conceled handgun community.
