City of New Braunfels demands $1.3 million back from The Scooter Store

Bob Gray, vice president of the New Braunfels Industrial Development Corporation, says the city is trying to collect $1.3 million from the Scooter Store because the company broke its contract.

Good luck collecting. Did the journalist mention that Mr. Zipp, a high ranking officer at Scooter Store, is also on the 4B Board that voted the tax benefits to the Scooter Store? Can we say HUGE conflict of interest? Oh wait, he probably recused himself from voting and winked at all his buddies on the board. Want to dig into that one, WOAI?

Claw back provision. Got to admire New Braunsfels. San Antonio can take a page from that book. Another private company that solely depends on government for their living.
