Mind you the 428 was a pile up of like 3 months i was on a payment plan

I just paid off my light bill which was 428.55 then Bam get a bill for March for 617.96 now tell me how the hell is this right?????? It wasnt even that high during peak summer.

Well...these are sad times, when the trustees can not be trusted. The coyote protecting the chickens. Ethical behavior goes to the trash can when greed and dishonesty prevail. Who can we complaint to in order to correct these abuses? Nobody. They will do as they please because we, the ones paying their lavish lifestyles, are too weak, too dumb or too tired to come up with an organized protest in front of CPS. They will try to poke our eyes always, and if somebody complains, then, and only then, they give a refund. Little by little this non-profit institution comes up with a huge profit that is not used to better the service, but is given to the other non-trusted trustees: The City Council. If this happens in the "most advanced" country in the world, can you imagine how it goes in less developed countries?

I had the same problem with SAWS a few years ago. I got a $200+ bill from them with my normal bill being $30. They came out an replaced the meter but told me the old one was working. They inspected my house and yard and found no leaks and it was obvious I didn't have a swimming pool and my yard did not look like it had been flooded. It would have to have been flooded to use the amount of water they claimed. But even after all of that I still had to pay the bill. That's what you get when there is a monopoly on services. Fortunately my electric/gas bill has been normal. I don't want one of their "new" meters. I don't trust them at all.
