SAN ANTONIO - The president of the Ventura Homeowners Association is out of a job... at least for now. A judge has issued a temporary restraining order removing Lisa Pfeiffer from the HOA's board of directors. The court order also puts on ice the disputed results of the HOA's recent board election.
Many in this Judson area neighborhood call Pfeiffer the neightborhood "bully" and accuse her of rigging her re-election by not accepting nominations for candidates to run against her at their annual meeinting on October 12.
More than 200 homeowners showed up at that meeting, but were bascally turned away by Pfeiffer, who refused to allow them to cast a vote.
People in Ventura have been fuming since I revealed that Pfeiffer has racked up more than $80,000 dollars in legal fees, suing several homeowners who tried to kick her out of office last year.

When I knocked on Pfeiffer's door to ask if she had any comment about the court ruling, she said, "I have nothing to say to you Brian!"

Next step in this battle; a court hearing next week to make the injunction permanent. That would set the stage for a fair election where homeowners votes will be counted.
