SAN ANTONIO - Walmart's decision to hold Black Thursday may lead to walkouts at 1,000 of its stores on Black Friday.
Thousands of workers from across the country, including online workers, are threatening to strike in opposition to the store's 8 p.m. opening on Thanksgiving.
Federal labor officials on Monday promised they will decide quickly whether to support a request by Walmart to stop the union-backed group from pushing the walkouts.
Labor experts say that even a small number of workers striking could make a significant impact.
