SAN ANTONIO - A bird has been attacking people at a north side deli near 1604 and 281, and apparently it has rules on who it will attack. First of all, the bird will only go after men who are not wearing hats when they are coming or going into the deli. McAllister's Deli Manager Michael Sangiuliano says the bird will not go after women or children.

Sangiuliano says the attacks started after a nest was removed a couple of weeks ago.  He also says the bird also waits for people to look away before it will attack.

"As soon as you turn your back, it will get you.  It won't peck you, but it will sure scare the pants off of you."

The deli isn't sure what it will do about the bird other than warn customers.
