And then you voted for your favorite. The winner: Big’z Burger Joint!
“Thank you very much – and thanks to our voters,” said manager Jason Rayburg. “We need everybody else to come out here and try these burgers. If you haven’t had them, our half-pound patties are awesome. And you can make it dirty for a dollar.”
So what makes Big’z stand apart from the other San Antonio burgers?
“It’s one of a kind. It’s a really good meat – seasoned and grilled perfectly,” explained Rayburg. “Of course we have all the freshest products that you can possibly get in San Antonio.”
So which burger should you try first?
“We have a daily special up every day, so if you come in, your best bet is to do that,” said Rayburg. “My favorite is the one with the dirty fried egg on it, provolone cheese, pico de gallo and bacon.”
They’ve been at their location on Loop 1604 and Blanco Springs for six years now, and they just opened a new location off Highway 151 between Potranco and Military back in February.
“It’s the most friendly restaurant you can find. Parents can enjoy their meals. The kids can run ragged out in the back yard – and play to their little hearts’ content,” said Rayburg.
Congratulations Big’z Burger Joint!
