SAN ANTONIO -- Police are searching for a man who they say stabbed a bar owner early Wednesday.
The stabbing happened just before 3:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Deol Bar and Grill off of Loop 1604 and Chase Hill on Northwest Side. Police said the owner of the bar was trying to get customers out, so he could close up the bar. A group of men still inside the bar then started arguing. One of the customers became angry and stabbed the owner twice, once in the arm and once in the side. The attacker and another man then ran off.
The bar owner was taken to University Hospital where he underwent surgery. At last check, he was in stable condition.
Police say the bar owner knows his attacker, and officers went to a nearby apartment to try to track down the man. They found a car matching the description of the suspect's vehicle in the parking lot. They towed the car after spotting blood inside it. They are still searching for the suspect.
