Attempted carjacking ends in shooting

SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio Police are searching for a group of men they say shot a man shortly before 9:00 p.m. Monday.

Investigators say the victim exchanged words with the men on Belmont Street, just off East Commerce. Police say the men wanted to steal the victim's truck.

After the shooting, the injured man drove off in his vehicle and later stopped at a gas station to call for help. He's currently in the hospital.

too bad the victim wasnt a CHL holder...concealed handgun licensee!!!! those thugs wouldve had a mouth/head full of hydra shok!!!!! be the last vehicle they try to steal...id tell em to get a job, be productive in society and jeez i forgot they cant read...thanks Katrina!!
