SAN ANTONIO - AT&T customers could soon be cashing in on a company mistake.

AT&T has agreed to pay the federal government $700,000 for mistakenly forcing some smartphone users into monthly data plans back in 2009.

The company will now restore the older plans and give refunds to affected customers -- up to $30 a month.
