hidden agenda, I very seriously doubt that this young lady is planning on a vehicle that she can drive herself since she's paralyzed from the shoulders down.....or did you miss that part?!?!?! A specially equipped van is needed for her family, friends, supporters to use to transport her, her bulky wheelchair, and other needed support items & vital gear. This isn't a frufru request or wish. This is a vital need to support a bit of everyday life. And, wheelchairs for quadraplegics are bulky due to the additions to them to assist in the owner's function abilities. Why don't you try looking it up and see for yourself. Today is Thanksgiving Day, so instead of sitting at your computer keyboard bemoaning what you think is silly and selfish, instead give thanks that you, nor any member of your family, sits in this young lady's position, requiring complete assistance of others for even life's basic functions and needs. Would you really want someone else wiping your backside because some crazy person stole that ability from you?

So is there anything being done to ensure care for the children of the young man who is now deceased? I mean that's great that people are coming together to help this young woman, but I do believe two young children are left without a father and regardless if he was an active part of their lives, what is being done for them???

obviously you know nothing about disabled persons and their need to be transported to medical and therapy sessions..especially if they need to take their wheelchairs and other equipment with them.. the majority of cars do not have the space for this cargo... stupid people like you "hidden agenda" need to just shut the hell up and not make stupid comments about issues you obviously know NOTHING about!!!
