SAN ANTONIO - A teenage girl was shot in the back during a drive-by shooting on the East Side Tuesday night.
The shooting happened around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday on Nellina Street, near Interstate 10 and Martin Luther King Drive. Police say the 16-year-old girl was playing volleyball with her cousins at her birthday party, when she was hit by a stray bullet. She was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) with non life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said the girl's brother was also grazed by a bullet on Corliss Street Tuesday.
So far, no arrests have been made. Police said they are looking for a Blue Buick Roadmaster.
