It’s time for another visit to
Cordillera Ranch in Boerne, site of the 2006 San Antonio Living Concept Home. This year we’ve teamed up with Custom builder
Ray Stadler to build a luxurious 2.5 million dollar home with amazing views of the ranch’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and the Texas Hill Country.
The wonderful piece of property in the heart of Cordillera Ranch it is a stunning site. Custom builder Ray Stadler, known for his exquisite, yet easy to live in designs, has come up with quite a plan.
“We try to do things that are unique and fit well with the property,” says Stadler. “A lot of things to take into consideration. The sun’s orientation, topography, trees and all different things the property has to offer.”
Our concept home, which will be almost 7,000 square feet, will include two master bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen and temperature-controlled wine room; a state of the art media room; even an elevator for easy access to the second floor.
“We’ll be incorporating a lot of things you’ll see are popular for the new homeowner,” Stadler explains. “We’ll have a nice outdoor kitchen and living area, a lot of unique ceiling treatments and unique materials that you may have seen in the building process.”
The home is being built on unique land with a rock ravine. Stadler has actually incorporated these natural features into his design.
“We’re going to do a zero-edge pool toward the back of the property that will trickle back down into the ravine,” says Stadler. “There’s two ravines that meet up in the back of property, and a peninsula between the two. We’ll be able to nestle a gazebo type structure there that will look back toward the ravine.”
Throughout construction we’ll show you how you can incorporate some of the fabulous features you’ll see into your own home. So watch for more updates right here.
