The Central Library in downtown San Antonio reopens next month after undergoing extensive renovations. The library is scheduled to open on April 1st with an upgraded entry on the first floor and a children's area on the third floor. The $3 million renovation included the library's first coat of fresh coat in more than ten years. Parts of the building remained open during the overhaul, but most of it was closed. The 2017-2022 bond program funded the renovations.
