Another idea from De La Garza is using fruits and vegetables to make stencils. Simply cut the produce in half and cover with paint. De La Garza pressed her stencils on burlap to make place mats for Thanksgiving, card stock and construction paper is also an option.
One of De La Garza's crafts that requires a little extra effort is a cornucopia made out of crescent rolls. Start off by making a mold in the shape of a cornucopia out of aluminum foil. Next wrap the crescent rolls around the mold. Put a special touch on your project by making a braid out of rolls for the mouth of the cornucopia. Brush with egg wash and then bake!
