SAN ANTONIO - Nothing is more comfortable, cool and chic in the south Texas summer heat than a great dress! But, it’s important to find one that is casual enough to run errands in and also sophisticated and stylish enough so you’re ready for whatever comes your way! (I.e. brunch, party, running into an ex)

First let’s talk about color. Orange is one of the must-have colors of the season so you can’t go wrong wearing orange. The print is eye-catching, but not too in your face. Prints are also a huge trend right now.
I love the cowl neck. It flatters most body types by framing the face and minimizing a large bust.
The tie waist accentuates an hourglass shape and it can create a waist for women who don’t have one.
The
heels our model is wearing are pretty sexy and more appropriate for evening. For day, wear wedges or even some simple metallic flats.

Now, I do realize that this dress is not appropriate for every body type. If you’re short-waisted or apple-shaped, look for a dress with an empire waist. If you are not feeling great about your legs, opt for a dress that hits just above or below the knee (note: the model is 5’ 10” so this dress would be much longer on a more petite woman).
