"Southern Strangers" voted best band in SA

SAN ANTONIO -- We asked you to vote on who is the best local band, and you really cranked up the volume with your response. It was a close one, though. The top band won by just 10 votes.

The top four nominated bands were Ruben V, A Day Like No Other, Southern Strangers, and Sound of Curves.

So, who is the best local band? San Antonio has chosen The Southern Strangers. The South Central Texas band plays southern rock, country and the blues. The Southern Strangers are:

Matt Anderson
Tommy Baird
Chad Anderson
Anthony Moy
Pony Hill

Southern Strangers is a great local country rock band,(even grandmas love the music) come on all you Southsiders, Harlandale, McCollum, Highlands and East Central give them a try, I am sure you will become a repeat fan! Love you nephew!

Okay, WOAI, not much of an interview. Could have at least showed all the band members and had the interview last longer than 30 seconds!

Im with Chevey girl!! these guys are wonderful! All good men and great artist! They play this friday at sir vesas cantina off hwy 87 in Adkins Texas 9 pm

It's the last day to vote! The Sound of Curves write thier own music and also maintain full time jobs and are FROM San Antonio. Super sweet guys and great non country music. Well deserving of your vote!
