The last time we saw her was ten years ago. Beverly Purcell-Guerra, founder of San Antonio Woman and San Antonio Man Magazine, was here telling us about all she has accomplished throughout her career. She is featured on the cover of this month’s issue. Neat fact about this cover, Beverly is holding the magazine with her face on that cover as well. And she is joined by our very own, Leslie Bohl, who was featured on the cover eight years ago.
Beverly started her career at Vogue where she worked for seventeen years. After leaving Vogue, she wasn’t sure if her career was over. Then, she got involved with San Antonio Express-news and got connected with the local community. Through her experiences, she is able to create a magazine by women to help women. After San Antonio Women Magazine’s success, Beverly created San Antonio Man Magazine about a year ago.
